I realized photography assignments for magazines, agencies and companies like TimeOut New York, Elle, Gourmet- and Instyle magazine, Ad Agenda, I-Beam Design, Svenja John Jewlery, SevenSenses/Pro7, Toshiba,Oktalite, Galerie Peter Herrmann, Empowerment Project...
BIO: Born in South Germany, Hometown Ulm. After finishing school I left for Berlin to attend art school ( remembering my attempt to capture the right proportions in the nude drawing class). To follow my passion I left Berlin and went to a photography school in Stuttgart ( where I worked after school in a b/w lab and retouched gallery prints for Stefan Moses among others). Afterwards I started working as a photo assistant for the stillife photographer Igor Panitz and Micha Wolfson (we shot the Gardena catalogs and travelled together to Tenerife and Morocco to shoot fashion catalogs).
I moved to New York 1995 to experience this energy driven city and its vibrant photography scene and started working as a freelance assistant for Terry Niefield, Ken Shung among others right away. Later I worked as a full-time assistant and studio manager for the stillife photographer Hans Gissinger, shooting large advertising campaigns for Cartier, Timberland and Abercrombie and Fitch.
After over 10 years of living and working in New York as a freelance photographer I worked for 1 year on a documentary film with the Academy Award-winning organization Empowerment Project in North Carolina. Then I moved back to Berlin in 2007. After the birth of my daughter in 2008, I also started to represent professional photo retouchers, so that I have to possibility to offer retouching services for my own photography as well as to other photographers and agencies.
